Volunteering      

Volunteering with Art in Tanzania is an opportunity to make a genuine difference to the local communities who benefit from your support. During your time in Tanzania you can work with orphanages, schools, women organizations, environmental and health projects; as well as sports coaching, IT training, special needs programs and care work. Your project can be tailored to your skills and experience. Please contact us for more information.

Zanzibar
      

Zanzibar
Volunteer on the world famous Zanzibar Islands. As many of our volunteers visit Zanzibar during their stay in Tanzania, we decided to open volunteering projects there as well. You can volunteer in wide range of projects from nursery schools to women groups. Accommodation is at a volunteers house or at a host families home depending on the placement location.

Cost for the Zanzibar volunteering package is 300 usd per week, including port and/or airport transfers in Zanzibar, accommodation, breakfast and dinner (Dinner only at the villages), house cleaning, security, 24 hour support, orientation and placement guidance. If you arrive via Dar es Salaam we can arrange one night stay at the Dar es Salaam volunteering facility, airport and port transport, ferry ticket to Zanzibar at cost of 100 usd.

The Zanzibar program starts every first and third Monday of the calendar month.

Art in Tanzania provides bespoke volunteer packages from 2 to 12 weeks, with some adventure options included. We also have several options for volunteer placements lasting between 2 weeks to 2 years.
Adventures      
We arrange safaris for wildlife enthusiasts. All safari programs are tailored to your specific interests. Safari income is used to support community work.
