Zanzibar - New Project Site!
We are in process to open the operations at Zanzibar. After finishing the due diligence process with te Zanzibar Government we estimate we are ready to launch the Zanzibar volunteering at the end of January 2008. If you have a special interest to volunteer in Zanzibar please be free to ask the project progress.

Zanzibar
Volunteer in world famous Zanzibar Islands. As many of our volunteers visit Zanzibar during their stay in Tanzania, we decided to open volunteering projects there as well. You can volunteer in wide range of projects from the nursery schools to the women groups. Accommodation is at volunteers house or at home stay depending on the placement location.

Cost for the Zanzibar stay is usd 270 per week for the year 2008, including port and/or airport transports at Zanzibar, accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner at house, house cleaning, security, 24 hours staff attendance, orientation and placement guidance. If you arrive via Dar es Salaam we can arrange one night stay at Dar es Salaam volunteering facility, airport and port transport, ferry ticket to Zanzibar at usd 100. Thereon you can attend numerous small programs as swimming with dolphins etc separately.

Zanzibar program starts every first and third Monday of the calendar month.
