Volunteering      

Volunteering with Art in Tanzania is an opportunity to make a genuine difference to the local communities who benefit from your support. During your time in Tanzania you can work with orphanages, schools, women organizations, environmental and health projects; as well as sports coaching, IT training, special needs programs and care work. Your project can be tailored to your skills and experience. Please contact us for more information.

Internships
      

Art in Tanzania Internships
Art in Tanzania Internships take place in Dar es Salaam, Moshi, Arusha and Zanzibar. For more details about internship projects please go to our internship pages.

We have numerous work placements offering practical training for students in such areas as education, engineering, medicine, health, social work, business, arts, design, music, theater, advertising, web site design, marketing, tourism and hotel management. We tailor your placements to your specified sector of study, and all Internships are in English.

The typical length of an internship is between 2 to 3 months, but we can also cater for longer programs. Start and end dates are dependent upon the participant.

The Internship fee is USD 240 per week. This includes accommodation, house cleaning, security, 24 hour volunteer support,breakfast and dinner, orientation and airport transfers. We also offer language courses, safaris, Kilimanjaro climbs and many other programs for an additional price. All proceeds from the adventure programs are used to fund the community work projects.

Programs      
Art in Tanzania provides bespoke volunteer packages from 2 to 12 weeks, with some adventure options included. We also have several options for volunteer placements lasting between 2 weeks to 2 years.
Adventures      
We arrange safaris for wildlife enthusiasts. All safari programs are tailored to your specific interests. Safari income is used to support community work.
